West U Centennial Parade: KindStation

In August, be.inc proudly brought our KindStation to the City of West University’s Centennial Parade. Families from West University Elementary School joined us in creating heartfelt KindCards for seniors, in partnership with the West U Good Neighbor Team. These cards will soon be delivered to the city’s oldest residents, building a bridge between generations through simple but powerful gestures of kindness. Children also enjoyed making bracelets and kindness-themed stress balls, reminders that joy and resilience are always within reach.

SeniorKindConnection:

Bridging Generations Through Kindness, Conversation, and Connection.

SeniorKindConnection is an intergenerational initiative that brings together students from our Leaders of Tomorrow (LoT) program with older adults in the community to build empathy, spark meaningful dialogue, and foster emotional well-being.

In a recent event, students from Lamar and Bellaire High Schools spent the afternoon with seniors from West University, playing KindMemoryBingo—a Be Dot Inc–designed activity that blends storytelling, memory prompts, and acts of kindness. As stories were shared and laughter filled the room, students and seniors connected across generations—sharing wisdom, learning from one another, and creating joyful moments that last.

This program is a core expression of Be Dot Inc’s mission: promoting mental wellness, leadership development, and kindness through intentional, human-centered engagement.

SeniorKindConnection empowers youth to lead with compassion and gives seniors a powerful opportunity to reflect, connect, and be celebrated. One simple conversation can brighten a day—and change a life.

KindStation:

KindStation Project – Spreading Kindness, One Card at a Time

In May, we partnered with Lamar High School’s Leaders of Tomorrow (LoT) team and Lamar SAVE Promise Club to host a vibrant KindStation activation at Levy Park in Houston—a family-friendly event that brought kindness to life through creativity, connection, and community spirit.

Throughout the day, visitors of all ages stopped by the KindStation to create hand-decorated KindCards—uplifting notes filled with hope and encouragement, destined for seniors, patients, and individuals in need of a reminder that they are not alone. Children, teens, and families also joined in coloring our new kindness mascot, Dot, through custom-designed activity sheets that teach simple ways to be kind at home, at school, and in the community.

At the heart of the event was student leadership. Our LoT team led every aspect—from organizing supplies and engaging families, to setting up materials and sharing the mission behind each activity. It was a powerful example of young people stepping up to inspire and lead with empathy.

KindStation also sparked meaningful conversations about generosity, self-reflection, and how small acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact. As children colored Dot and shared KindCards, parents and caregivers had the chance to pause and reflect—watching kindness come to life, one message at a time.

The event was more than a weekend activity—it was a celebration of compassion in action. KindStation at Levy Park reminded us that giving back starts with the simplest gestures: a marker, a card, and a kind thought.

We are so proud of the Lamar students who brought this experience to life, and thrilled to see Dot helping children discover that kindness is a superpower they already have.

KindWeek:

Spreading Kindness at St. Clare of Assisi School in Houston

In March, we partnered with St. Clare of Assisi School in Houston to host KindWeek, an inspiring initiative designed to help students discover the power of kindness—toward others, themselves, and their community. Throughout the week, students engaged in meaningful activities that reinforced the idea that even the smallest acts of kindness can create a lasting impact.

One of the most powerful projects was the KindChain, where students wrote KindNotes—uplifting messages and words of encouragement—to one another. These notes were displayed throughout the school, serving as a daily reminder of the power of positive words and community support.

KindWeek also encouraged students to explore kindness toward themselves by learning about glimmers—small, joyful moments that bring comfort and happiness. Through reflection and discussion, they discovered how focusing on these simple moments can improve well-being and create a sense of inner peace. A Gratitude Board further reinforced the importance of appreciation, as students shared what they were thankful for, cultivating a mindset of positivity.

Creativity and connection were at the heart of KindWeek, as students took part in KindChalk, filling the school grounds with colorful and uplifting messages. They also participated in interactive kindness interviews, discussing the meaning of kindness and how small actions can inspire change.

To close the week, students embraced the spirit of giving back by creating KindCards for the elderly, spreading warmth and joy to those in need of connection. Teaching empathy and generosity was a key focus, demonstrating that even the simplest gestures can bring comfort and happiness to others.

In recognition of their dedication to kindness, we are proud to award St. Clare of Assisi School the official KindSchool Badge—a symbol of their commitment to fostering a culture of compassion, positivity, and leadership through kindness. None of this would have been possible without the incredible efforts of our KindAmbassadors, Celina and Antonina, whose leadership and enthusiasm helped bring KindWeek to life.

KindWeek at St. Clare of Assisi School was a beautiful reminder that kindness is not just a one-time act—it’s a way of life.

Leaders of Tomorrow: Career Week – Inspiring Leadership and Kindness

In February, we hosted Leaders of Tomorrow: Career Week, a transformative five-day experience designed to equip students with leadership skills, career insights, and hands-on event planning experience. With over 400 attendees, including students, educators, and mentors, this initiative provided a unique opportunity for students to take charge, connect with industry professionals, and embrace the power of kind leadership.

A standout feature of Leaders of Tomorrow was that students played a key role in organizing the event. Under our guidance, they worked with school leadership, the tech team, and faculty to plan every aspect—reserving the performance hall, managing registration, and even designing a custom event logo. This hands-on experience allowed them to develop real-world skills in teamwork, organization, and leadership. The entire event was planned and executed by students with an amazing Leading Team: Magda, Sofia, Elise, Dessa, Naz, Luisa, Gretchen, and over 20 dedicated volunteers.

Career Week was a registration-only event, ensuring that students who attended were engaged and eager to participate. Upon arrival, they received event badges and swag bags filled with meaningful items, including wristbands, inspirational notebooks, pens, hand sanitizer, and stress balls. Each day, students enjoyed snacks they pre-selected before the event, ensuring a personalized and thoughtful experience.

One of the most powerful elements of Leaders of Tomorrow was the mentorship and networking sessions, where students connected with professionals from Shell, Bank of America, Memorial Hermann, and leading Tech & Engineering companies. These industry leaders shared valuable career insights, leadership lessons, and the importance of kindness in professional success. Students saw firsthand how KindCompanies lead with empathy and social impact, reinforcing the message that kindness and leadership go hand in hand.

Beyond career development, we subtly introduced mental health and well-being throughout the event by incorporating inspirational messages and wellness tools. Recognizing that students face unique challenges, we created a space that offered guidance, support, and motivation in a way that felt natural and uplifting.

Leaders of Tomorrow: Career Week was more than just an event—it was an opportunity for students to step up, take initiative, and shape their futures with confidence, purpose, and kindness.

KindWeek : Empowering Kindness at Corpus Christi Elementary School in Houston.

In October, we partnered with Corpus Christi Elementary School in Houston to launch our KindWeek Project, a heartwarming initiative designed to inspire young minds and empower the next generation to lead with empathy, resilience, and positivity. This innovative week brought students, teachers, parents, and the community together to celebrate the transformative power of kindness.

Each day of KindWeek featured a unique theme paired with engaging activities. One standout day was “Today, I Am Grateful For…“, where students reflected on the small and big things they appreciate in their lives. This practice of gratitude sparked meaningful discussions and encouraged them to see the beauty in everyday moments. Another highlight was “Kindness is My Superpower“, which empowered students to embrace the idea that even small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect of positivity in their community.

The week’s activities included creating KindCards, which students delivered to seniors at the local church, fostering new connections and bringing joy to both groups. The KindChalk activity had students filling the school grounds with uplifting messages, inspiring smiles throughout the community.

The Kind Cards Project

Recognizing the importance of empathy and community, we connect different generations through meaningful activities. Our programs teach young children the value of empathy and the importance of supporting elderly people. Initiatives like our KindCards program encourage kids to create cards for seniors, fostering intergenerational bonds and demonstrating that every generation matters. This combined initiative aims to: foster empathy and support for the elderly, create meaningful intergenerational bonds, promote a sense of community and belonging for all age groups, spread positivity through intergenerational kindness projects.

Together, these initiatives form the backbone of our mission at be. inc, driving our commitment to promoting mental health, well-being, and equality in our community. Join us in creating a world where everyone feels valued, supported, and connected.

Senior KindConnection: Pay it Forward Movement

is an initiative that partners with seniors to spread positivity and foster a sense of community. Seniors choose inspirational messages to be printed on small cards, which are then distributed throughout various locations in cities. This project not only aims to share good vibes but also involves seniors in meaningful activities, helping to foster a positive environment and strengthen their connection to the community.

The Kind Week

The KindWeek Project is a week-long initiative designed to inspire students to spread kindness within their school and community. Through a series of activities, workshops, and hands-on projects, students learn the power of empathy, compassion, and connection. Each day of the week is dedicated to different acts of kindness—ranging from creating KindCards for seniors to engaging in peer support and gratitude challenges. This project fosters a culture of kindness, empowering students to make a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom.

The Senior KindConnection:
Seniors for be.inc

The Seniors for Leaders of Tomorrow Program connects experienced professionals with high school students. Led by Al from West University, Houston, Texas, seniors share their career knowledge with students who are still deciding on their future paths.

In this program:

  • Seniors talk about their work experiences
  • Students learn about different jobs
  • Both groups share ideas and learn from each other

This helps students understand real-world careers better. It also lets seniors guide the next generation of workers.

The program includes talks, activities, and projects that show students what different jobs are like. This makes it easier for students to choose their future careers.

Sustainable Volunteering and Mentoring

Career Week

be.inc supports high schools by running Career Week panels. During Career Week:

  • Students meet mentors from different jobs
  • Professionals share their work stories
  • Young people learn about various careers

These panels help students by:

  • Giving them valuable job insights
  • Connecting them with working professionals
  • Inspiring them to follow their interests

Career Week encourages students to think about jobs they’ll love and where they can help others. It’s a chance for students to learn directly from professionals and get excited about their future work.
